Behavioral Health Services are available to all patients through a referral from our medical providers. 

Our Behavioral Health Program covers a wide range of therapeutic services for young children through older adults, including those with disabilities.

The Behavioral Health Program is committed to helping patients cope with life issues, heal emotional wounds, overcome obstacles and adapt a healthy lifestyle. Our team of highly skilled licensed therapists, Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW’s) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT’s) work with primary care providers, providing integrated services in Placerville and Cameron Park.

Kevin holds a master's in social work  in addition to two years of post-master's supervised experience in a clinical setting. As a clinical social worker he provides direct services, including interventions focused on interpersonal interactions, intrapsychic dynamics, and life management issues.

Andrea Rodrigo LCSW

Assoociate Director of Clinical Services

Andrea received her Bachelors in Criminal Justice and Masters in Social Work from Arizona State University. Andrea is currently a doctoral candidate completing her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant International University, Sacramento. She has spent the majority of her mental health career serving individuals, couples, and families of all ages, genders, races, religions, and nationalities experiencing complex treatment issues including homelessness (social justice), substance use/abuse, domestic violence, (complex) trauma, attachment disorders, childhood specific disorders, mood disorders, psychosis/thought disorders, and anxiety-related disorders. Andrea practices utilizing a client-centered, strengths-based integrative therapeutic approach including such models as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT, EFFT), Cognitive Behavioral Based Therapies, Play Therapies, and Family System Focused Therapies.

John Bachman, PHD

Dr. Bachman received his doctoral degree in psychology from the University of California, San Francisco. He served as the Behavioral Medicine Clinic Director for the Stanford University Psychiatry Department, as the Special Projects Vice President for United Behavioral Health and as the El Dorado County Mental Health Director. In 2007, he joined the behavioral health team at the El Dorado Community Health Center, where he provides behavioral healthcare services and helped develop EDCHC’s MAT program for opioid use disorder. He is a member of the Access El Dorado (ACCEL) provider task force, the California Primary Care Association’s behavioral health peer network and a lifetime member of the American Psychological Association.

Jennifer Dwight-Frost,
LCSW

Mark received his Masters of Social Work and Masters in Public Health at the Boston University. He moved to California with his family because of the beautiful climate and scenery. Mark served in the Peace Corps., stationed in Central America and is bilingual, English/Spanish. He has participated in high school outreach programs, worked in hospital settings including Massachusetts General Hospital, and California State Prison. He specializes in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) education and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.    

Karen received her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Social Work from the State University of New York at Albany.  She moved to California from New York with her family in 2006. Karen has worked as a clinical social worker in adolescent residential treatment, public mental health and private practice. She has provided outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, families and adults with a wide range of concerns including mood disorders (anxiety and depression), childhood behavioral issues and life transitions. Karen works from a strengths based perspective, providing an environment of compassion and support to help individuals and families overcome the obstacles in their lives.

Integrated Behavioral Health Program Manager

Jennifer received her Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis on Special Education and Music at CSU Chico along with her Masters of Social Work at CSU Sacramento. Jennifer has experience in private practice, acute care settings and in local school districts providing individual therapy, behavior management, group and family sessions, crisis intervention, case management, brief solution focused therapeutic interventions, facilitating group classes, as well as working with community resource connection and program development. Jennifer practices utilizing patient centered, mindful, compassionate care and her passion lies in serving the local community with equity, and professionalism.

Victoria Clark-Collins, ACSW

​Victoria received her Bachelors in Social Work and her CA Pupil Personal Services credential from California State University, Sacramento, as well as her Masters in Social Work from Portland State University. She has extensive experience in working with schools in educationally based mental health services and is passionate in her work with children, youth, and adolescents. She has training in care for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking as well as being trained in Play Therapy, Personnel Pupil, Residential Providers, CORE, SART, ADHD/ADD, and ODD. Her experience also includes working with individuals who are neurodivergent, providing services for those experiencing addiction issues, and in working with the courts. It gives Victoria great joy to be a part of a Community Health Center with a patient centered approach within her community.

Elaine Bredl
LMFT

Elaine graduated from the California Institute of Integral Studies with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Drama Therapy. She is also a certificated educator in the state of California, and worked with children and their families in the public school system for over a decade prior to becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She completed her Associateship at Pacific Counseling and Trauma Center in Folsom, and she joined EDCHC after serving as a Family Therapist in an adolescent Residential Treatment Center. She also owns and runs her own private practice in Placerville. Elaine lives in El Dorado County with her family and is passionate about working for EDCHC to be able to serve the members of her community in greatest need.

Adrienne Aguiar
AMFT

 

Adrienne Aguiar, AMFT received her bachelor’s in psychology from CSU Channel Islands and her master’s in clinical psychology and counseling psychology from California Lutheran University. Moving to the area from Southern California, Adrienne has experience working in a school setting providing social-emotional services to adolescents. In addition, she has worked with adolescents and adults with eating disorders in both a residential treatment and an outpatient setting. While she has decided to increase her experience with additional mental health services, she is most passionate about working with and being part of the healing journey for individuals who struggle with their relationship with food and body as well as with working with the underserved population. She recognizes that food is an incredibly important part of our lives, that there can be much stigma from society as well as significant mental distress, and she advocates for quality treatment services to be available to those struggling with eating disorders before they need a higher level of care. Adrienne loves spending time with her family and children, from all of the little everyday activities to trips to Disneyland, every moment is special and brings her great joy.
